WARRIORS FOR FREEDOM
About Warriors For Freedom

Warriors for Freedom Foundation was established in 2011 by Maj. Ed Pulido and Brett Dick to serve as a not for profit to connect servicemembers, veterans, and their families with resources needed to become united with the community again.
Maj. Ed Pulido was serving in the United States Army, when he hit an Improvised Explosive Device (I.E.D) or roadside bomb on 17th of August, 2004, while serving with the Coalition Military Assistance Training Team under the command of General David Petraeus. Due to the extensive injuries to his left knee, doctors had to amputate his left leg on October 1, 2004. For his heroism and valor on that August day, the President of the United States along with General David Petraeus awarded him the Bronze Star with valor, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal, and Joint Service Commendation and Achievement Medals.
In 2012, they received their nonprofit status and their work within the military community expanded leaps and bounds.
Warriors for Freedom Foundation is a charitable, tax-exempt, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting and improving mental, physical and holistic wellness to our nation's active military, veterans and their families.
